“Friends of”, Businesses & School Service Groups

“Friends of” groups, businesses, and school service clubs share an ongoing commitment to their community, helping keep public spaces welcoming while fostering pride and connection.​

• Friends of Groups – Neighbors who adopt a park or initiative through cleanups, light landscaping, and engagement

• Businesses – Companies that organize team-building or service days, offering volunteer hours, donations, or fundraising

• School Service Clubs – Student clubs led by an adult, expected to provide 30+ hours of service each semester

• ​Stewardship – Activities may include maintenance, cleanup days, fundraising, reporting graffiti, or hosting events

• Oversight – Larger projects may require review by the Grow HB Project Review Committee
