Scout Projects

Scout Projects – The City of Huntington Beach is proud to partner with Scouts as they work toward Eagle, Gold, Silver, and other service awards. These projects leave a lasting legacy in our parks, facilities, and community spaces while building leadership and civic pride.​

• Identify a community need and develop a project plan​

• Apply through the City’s volunteer process with staff support

• ​Collaborate with the staff Project Program Coordinator and applicable City departments

• ​Design & build amenities such as benches, picnic tables, kiosks, and more

• ​Enhance parks and public spaces with beautification and rehabilitation projects

• ​Educate the community through wildlife signage, information boards, and learning features
