HOMELESS & BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICE PROGRAM
The City of Huntington Beach has established a comprehensive System of Care that supports those experiencing or are at risk of homelessness with a focus on outreach, engagement, case management and linkage to shelter, housing and other supportive services. The City’s Homeless and Behavioral Health Division, under the City Manager’s Office, is committed to taking a positive, balanced approach of assisting the homeless with compassion towards self-sufficiency while upholding our community’s overall quality of life.
Volunteers enhance the City’s System of Care and allow the City to better support those at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness.
Volunteers with specific skills can be matched to needs at our Huntington Beach Navigation Center to facilitate life skills.
