This program provides undergraduate and graduate-level students with advanced opportunities to learn about the inner workings of a full-service city and directly interact with the City Manager’s Office team.  Apply your academic skills and passion for public service to various “real world” assignments within the city.   

Included here are a few examples of volunteer opportunities that may match your skills and interests:  

1. Interdepartmental liaison: collaborate with different departments to facilitate projects

2. Assist in the research, development, and implementation of city projects and policies  

3. Support the City Manager's Office with administrative tasks, including preparing reports and presentations for city council meetings.  

4. Public Affairs volunteer: create outreach materials ranging from fliers to newsletters contributing to public communications and awareness.
