The Office of Communications is the vital communications link between the City of Huntington Beach and the community it serves. It initiates, coordinates, and sustains relationships with various constituencies, especially the general public, media, visitors, and businesses. The Office ensures a flow of information to and from city government regarding its policies and procedures and increases awareness of innovative city programs, services, and recreational, and involvement opportunities. It supports development efforts and business and visitor retention.

As a Video Production Volunteer Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in creating engaging visual content. You’ll collaborate with our team to produce videos that convey our organization’s message effectively.

Responsibilities: 

Video Editing: Assist in editing raw footage, adding graphics, and refining video content.

Content Creation: Brainstorm creative ideas to enhance our video content, ensuring it aligns with our communication goals.

Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to create team hype videos, promotional clips, and other relevant content.

Software Proficiency: Utilize video editing tools (such as Adobe Premiere) to enhance the overall quality of our videos.

Content Maintenance: Help maintain and organize video files, ensuring easy access for the team.

Duration: This ongoing internship requires approximately 8-10 hours per week.
