The Beach, Nature, Parks & Environment volunteer program engages volunteers across multiple divisions including Beach cleanups, Park cleanups and Environmental sustainability.
This is a City of Huntington Beach program that allows community volunteers to assist in the care and maintenance of City parks, beaches, playgrounds, and open space areas.
Beach cleanups play a vital role in maintaining the beauty of beaches, preventing litter from entering the ocean and harming wildlife. In supporting diverse wildlife, beach cleanups also serve as a means to raise awareness about the global issue of marine pollution.

1. Annual Earth Day Beach & Park Cleanup (April 26, 2025)
3. California Coastal Cleanup Day (September 20, 2025)
Helping hands are most important for keeping a neighborhood that is used frequently by residents and their friends clean, well lighted, and safe. Trash and recycling projects make our communities more appealing to residents and visitors alike.
